Your camera stays yours

The shelf is read on your phone. The pictures never leave it.

Rex uses your iPhone's own text recognition to read the spines. Only the words it reads are sent to us, to be matched against the catalogue, and no photo or video is ever uploaded or stored. There are no ads, no trackers, and nothing about you is sold. The whole policy is a few minutes' reading.
